Brome and Oakley Parish Councillors are: Roger Broughton (Chairperson), Isobel Demangeat, Stephanie Dennis, Charles Doe, Martin Liddell, Tom Pace and John Parry. There is currently a vacancy on the Parish Council if you are interested in joining the Parish Council team, please contact the Clerk for more information.
The Parish Council usually meets monthly, with the exception of August and December. Agendas for the meetings are published on this website.
ECOPOWER SUFFOLK SOLAR STATUTORY CONSULTATION
The Parish Council has submitted its response to the statutory consultation and this can be viewed here. Residents are encouraged to submit their individual comments directly to EcoPower and can do so up until midnight on Sunday 16 August. The Parish Council's has already submitted three responses to the non-statutory consultation: April 2025, May 2025 and January 2026

Diss and District Neighbourhood Development Plan is adopted planning policy which includes policies for the villages of Brome and Oakley. Further information is available from
