Brome and Oakley Parish Councillors are: Roger Broughton (Chairperson), Isobel Demangeat, Stephanie Dennis, Charles Doe, Martin Liddell, Tom Pace and John Parry. There is currently a vacancy on the Parish Council if you are interested in joining the Parish Council team, please contact the Clerk for more information. 

The Parish Council usually meets monthly, with the exception of August and December. Agendas for the meetings are published on this website.  

The Parish Council has submitted its response to the EcoPower Suffolk statutory consultation and this can be viewed here. The Parish Council responses to the non-statutory consultation can be viewed here: April 2025, May 2025 and January 2026

Diss and District Neighbourhood Development Plan is adopted planning policy which includes policies for the villages of Brome and Oakley.  Further information is available from

The next scheduled meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Monday 12 October 2026 at Brome and Oakley Village Hall.
