Brome and Oakley Parish Councillors are: Roger Broughton (Chairperson), Isobel Demangeat, Stephanie Dennis, Charles Doe, Martin Liddell, Tom Pace and John Parry. There is currently a vacancy on the Parish Council. For details of the process to fill this vacancy, please view this document. 

The Parish Council usually meets monthly, with the exception of August and December. Agendas for the meetings are published on this website.

For further details of the proposed solar farm development with affects Brome and surrounding villages please visit www.ecopowersuffolk.com. The Parish Council's has submitted three responses to the non-statutory consultation: April 2025, May 2025 and January 2026

Diss and District Neighbourhood Development Plan is adopted planning policy which includes policies for the villages of Brome and Oakley.  Further information is available from

The next scheduled meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Monday 8 June 2026 at Brome and Oakley Village Hall.
