Welcome to the Brome and Oakley Parish Council Website

Brome and Oakley Parish Councillors are: Roger Broughton (Chairperson), Isobel Demangeat, Charles Doe, Tom Pace, John Parry, and Ian Stockham (Vice Chairperson). 

The Parish Council usually meets monthly, with the exception of August and December. Agendas for the meetings are published on this website.  

There are currently two Councillor vacancies on the Parish Council. Details of how to apply for these vacancies will be published in January. The formal notices for the vacancies can be viewed here

Diss and District Neighbourhood Development Plan is adopted planning policy which includes policies for the villages of Brome and Oakley.  Further information is available from

The next scheduled meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Monday 12 January 2026 at Brome and Oakley Village Hall.
